We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to support and accelerate the growth of our Physical Security Consulting practice. This role is focused on expanding relationships within our existing client base while identifying and developing new opportunities across the physical security ecosystem.

The successful candidate will work closely with technical consultants, project teams, and leadership to position our services with major security integrators, engineering and construction firms, and large infrastructure owners, acting as a trusted commercial partner throughout the sales cycle.

Tasks and Activities

  • Grow and manage a portfolio of existing Physical Security Consulting clients, with a focus on account expansion and long-term partnerships
  • Identify and pursue new consulting opportunities within major security system integrators, engineering and design firms, and/or construction & infrastructure companies
  • Develop and execute account strategies aligned with client security, operational, and infrastructure goals
  • Lead the full sales cycle: opportunity qualification, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and close
  • Collaborate with technical subject-matter experts to translate client needs into clear, compelling consulting solutions
  • Maintain strong relationships with decision-makers across security, facilities, IT, and project management teams
  • Track pipeline activity and forecast revenue with accuracy and discipline

Required Education, Skills, and Experience

The following education and credentials are mandatory:

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or similar sales role within physical security, critical infrastructure, engineering services, or consulting environments
  • Strong understanding of physical security systems, risk assessments, and security program lifecycle (design, implementation, operations)
  • Demonstrated success selling professional services or consulting—not just hardware or products
  • Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills

The following skills and experience are mandatory:

  • Must qualify for a Government of Canada security clearance

The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:

  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Any additional experience

Working Conditions

  • Employment Status: This is a full-time, permanent role
  • Location: This is hybrid, with on-site expectations not only in client locations but also in the RHEA office in Ottawa. Some travel may be required.
  • Compensation: Based on experience – $80,000 – $100,000 as a base salary with additional commission-based compensation.
