Canadian transit agency Metrolinx was the target of a cyber-attack that breached a firewall and infected a system that was not related to employee or customer data. Although the attack did not cause harm, the incident has brought back the attention to the vulnerability of infrastructures and technology systems around the world that serve as the backbone of our economy, security, and health.

Critical infrastructures of cities should now more than ever operate in a collaborative, secure, and resilient environment. How can we protect our critical infrastructure from cyber-attacks? Nicolas Pellerin-Roy, RHEA Group’s Security Business Analyst, talked with Radio Canada to discuss how these attacks work and how to prevent them.
