Marco Ruggi is Director Aviation Services at APS Aviation. Marco has over 20 years’ experience in aviation engineering and business management leading regulatory and compliance-based projects. As a trusted partner to international regulators and industry, he has completed more than 200 research and development projects supporting high profile operational and technical challenges. He is a recognized industry expert in the field of aircraft ground icing, and has spearheaded the development of aviation operating standards used worldwide.
His recent areas of work include aerodynamic modeling and testing of de/anti-icing fluids on airfoils, testing and evaluation of nanotechnology coatings, and ground icing research for rotorcraft operations. With a diverse skill set, Marco is able to identify goals and execute plans even in the most unconventional work settings, making him a strong asset to research and development programs.
Marco holds an MBA Eng, and has an educational background of engineering (Concordia), business administration (Concordia), management and leadership (MIT), and arts (Marianopolis).
