RHEA continues to grow, and we are looking to add a Senior Accounting Technician to the team.
We are looking for a Senior Accounting Technician with a minimum of 10 years of experience to manage the entire accounting cycle. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. They will also be responsible for bank reconciliations, government remittances, and will actively participate in the implementation of a new ERP system.
This is a hybrid position, operating out of RHEA’s offices in either Ottawa or in Montreal, and reports to the Director of Finance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete accounting cycle, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monthly tax reports.
- Participate in the preparation of monthly and annual financial closings.
- Produce various financial reports and ensure strict monitoring of accounting operations.
- Collaborate with the team for the ERP implementation and optimize accounting processes.
Skills and Experience:
- College diploma in accounting.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, including managing the full accounting cycle.
- ERP implementation experience is a plus.
- Excellent proficiency with accounting software and Excel.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Bilingual in English and French.
